Coronavirus (COVID19) update
3rd November 2020
Dear Valued Patients,
In line with the advise from the Chief Dental Officer for England, I am pleased to confirm that access to dental care will remain throughout the national lockdown (4 Nov – 2 Dec 2020), there is greater confidence in the continuity in supply of PPE than was the case in March 2020 and the public health measures announced by the PM on Saturday permit travel for healthcare which includes access to dental care.
However, we are still unable to see patients for their routine appointments. Our hygienists have started their hygiene treatments, and we strongly recommend patients to see them, to ensure that their oral health is maintained.
Due to the already long wait for patients who have seen us regularly over the years, we are currently not able to take on any new NHS patients for routine care. Call us if you wish to be added to our NHS waiting list, however at the moment we are unable to provide any timescales for our waiting lists.
We have new protocols and policies in place within the practices and we have the enhanced PPE in place for the safety of our staff and patients.
Things will be very different – the empty waiting room, the additional PPE, the even more meticulous disinfection procedures. You may not be able to see our smiles behind all that PPE , but we will be just the same, ready to care for you but ensuring that you are going to be safe.

This policy will be constantly reviewed and updated as necessitated by circumstances over time.
