Coronavirus (COVID19) update
1st June 2020
Dear Valued Patients,
As you are aware, the government announced that dental practices will re-open on the 8th June 2020. We had no warning that the reopening was going to be announced on the news and as a result have been given 10 days notice to reopen our practices. We have new protocols and policies to set out within our practices and ensure we have the correct PPE in place for the safety of our staff and patients. Despite this we are pleased to inform you that Chess House Dental Practice will be re-opening on the 8th June 2020 at 8:30am.
While we await further guidance, we will be prioritising the patients we see as below:
Patients who have contacted us with dental emergencies over the last few weeks by phone/email
Patients who develop a dental emergency during this time
We will inform you when we are able to see:
Patients with treatment that was incomplete before the practice was temporarily closed;
Patients who were due for routine examinations and hygienist visits during the period of closure;
Patients who are due orthodontic reviews.
Things will be very different – the empty waiting room, the additional PPE, the even more meticulous disinfection procedures. You may not be able to see our smiles behind all that PPE , but we will be just the same, ready to care for you but ensuring that you are going to be safe.

This policy will be constantly reviewed and updated as necessitated by circumstances over time.
