Coronavirus (COVID19) update
5th October 2020
Dear Valued Patients,
Due to the current increase in the UK COVID threat level, we are unable to see patients for routine examinations. Our dentists have been swamped with dental emergencies and pending treatments which have risen during the last few months, and therefore are unable to see patients for their routine appointments. However, our hygienists have started their hygiene treatments, and we strongly recommend patients to see them, to ensure that their oral health is maintained. We have new protocols and policies in place within the practices and we have the enhanced PPE in place for the safety of our staff and patients. However, due to the social distancing measures and other safety protocols, we are still running at reduced capacity to normal, and therefore there may be a long wait before you are seen for non-urgent appointments. Therefore, we will still be prioritising the patients we see as below:
Patients who have contacted us with dental emergencies over the last few weeks by phone/email
Patients who develop a dental emergency during this time
Due to the already long wait for patients who have seen us regularly over the years, we are currently not able to take on any new NHS patients for routine care. Call us if you wish to be added to our NHS waiting list, however at the moment we are unable to provide any timescales for our waiting lists.
Things will be very different – the empty waiting room, the additional PPE, the even more meticulous disinfection procedures. You may not be able to see our smiles behind all that PPE , but we will be just the same, ready to care for you but ensuring that you are going to be safe.

This policy will be constantly reviewed and updated as necessitated by circumstances over time.
